Contrived Impregnation
When we say life, we unconsciously ask how meaningful we are to follow. However, we humans, who also animals, disdain for “surviving” as animals.
Everyone is trying to find their own way of life. It has to be something special for you, or for anyone, and at the top of it there has to be a mission to be fulfilled.
It’s been said that Homo sapiens existed for about 200,000 years, but survival has been the very essence of life for most of human history. It’s probably only in the last thousand years or so that people have come to believe that everyone is equal and has right to celebrate life as it is.
In modern society, celebration of life in each individual’s way is considered that must be guarantee in society, but is not this a way of life that is much more difficult and painful than actually surviving?
While trying to celebrate life, many people continue to suffer by unsolvable problems. We believe that we must overcome many challenges, be solved, removed from our life. We believe without a doubt that we have to be sublimate ourselves to the position we desire. But there are absurdity and irrationality in an unequal way, which do not disappear, and people live with a distinction that never closes with someone else.
What exactly does it mean to celebrate life? It is to live as you think, as you wish, which means self-realization. The modern way of life is to form the self that we should be. Humanity, which has survived by hunting for tens of thousands of years and cultivating fields for thousands of years, have gained the status of being able to survive without it in modern times.
Even if it is merely a temporary, today is an era self-realization.
In this work “Contrived Impregnation”, three elements that have no connection, is viewed from a certain point, and then three elements are synchronized. The egg white and yolk settle into the shell, creating a state of conception for life. However, you cannot incubate it, and no matter how long you wait, life will not emerge from this egg. It’s just the illusion that the elements of the world have returned to the way they really are.
Looking at it from a particular point, these three elements may overlap perfectly, and feel a sense of excitement, like a sense of accomplishment. But there is no meaningfulness coming from it, and it does not save oneself. Isn’t that what entertainment is all about? In a time when almost everyone was engaged in hunting and farming, was it not a kind of entertainment in itself to bring back something to eat? And that, in itself, was the essence of survival.
Humanity is now confused. However, if self-realization is achieved, it does not mean that you will be able to escape confusion, and not even be able to find it by going to Mars.
If we honestly think back to the long history of humanity, we cannot say that our lives are empty as long as we are just living.
However, we have achieved glorious freedom, and now are trying to survive by continuing to create the empty things.
